Boulder Kitchen Remodeling Open Concept Wonderland Lake
Featured Kitchen Remodeling In Boulder Wonderland Lake
Modern Homestead, a leading remodeling contractor, is proud to call Boulder our home. Not only do we love what we do, but we love where we do it. All of us take great pride in serving homeowners across our hometown.
Many homeowners find their current space does not fit with their needs and preferences. In this featured Kitchen Remodeling project, there was previously a walled off galley kitchen. Not only were we able to provide an open concept kitchen, living and dining area, but we incorporated the structural beam (required after removing the wall) into the aesthetic of the space. Whatever your goals, Modern Homestead can work with you to convert your current space into the home of your dreams with a kitchen remodel.
Efficiency Throughout
The spherical lighting offsets the hard edges of the island and cabinetry to provide a perfect contrast and soften the kitchen to make it a more welcoming and warm environment. We designed the cabinetry and surrounding shelving to complement one another in a way that is modern yet warm. Our designers created a custom match of matte white wall cabinetry with shelving and island base in walnut stained driftwood. Then we walk around from the center of the kitchen to view out to the dining area. We designed the space to allow the maximum light to flow into the entire area, and to have unobstructed views throughout. Someone can be cooking at the stove and still be carrying on conversation with guests at the dining table or island counter.
Paying Attention to Details
The minimalist Brizo plumbing fixtures and the deep undermount sink are functional yet blend seamlessly into the overall design allowing the cabinetry, the floating shelves and the backsplash style to shine and take center stage. The walnut shelving and bar cabinets provides depth to the dining area and the inset pantry area allow for plentiful storage while maintaining a minimal look and accentuating the bar area.
How We Work
As with all of our projects, our work began well before the start of construction. After identifying our client’s specific goals for the project, we worked with our architects, engineers, and designers to produce a full design plan. Below are a few excerpts from our plans for this project. Please review our How We Work page to learn more about our simple five-stage design-build process for making your dream home a reality.
This shows the existing and proposed floorplan. As you can see from the demo plan, we removed a wall and fireplace that previously divided up the space. The second image is a more detailed design proposal with some of the cabinet sizes and usages defined. As we are an authorized dealer of Crystal Cabinet Works, we do the full detailed cabinet design in addition to the schematic design. The third image is a portion of our interior design portfolio for the project. We produce these on every project to provide very clear visual guidance to our clients and our project managers and trade experts working on site.
Spacious & Matching Designs
Our design team created a clean minimalist yet warm look with Crystal Cabinet Works cabinets and Ceasarstone quartz countertops in alpine mist, complimented by Pental backsplash tile that has a slight texture to provide depth. We are an authorized dealer of these products and our design was able to find the perfect matches.
